The Craft Behind The Roast

This limited-edition selection bridges the gap between traditional estate coffees and careful spirit maturation. We took a deliberate foundation of high-density South American and Indonesian components and conditioned them inside charred oak barrels previously holding Blue Note Bourbon. The green seeds slowly absorb the residual spirit, sugars, and char, stabilizing the moisture profile before they ever hit the drum.

During development, we steer the roast profile to a solid medium-dark to intentionally structuralize the heavy, inherent sugars of the underlying components. This completely tames any aggressive, rustic edges and locks in an incredibly syrupy, viscous mouthfeel.

Roaster's Note: The interaction between the intense, caramelized sugars of the wet-hulled Sumatra and the clean, nutty sweetness of the naturally processed Brazil creates a dense flavor foundation. The Blue Note barrel conditioning layers authentic vanilla and charred oak top notes squarely over the middle of the sip, finishing with a lingering, sweet whiskey warmth.
